Grilled Garlic Shrimp with Habanero
A unique flavor combination of garlic-citrus goodness with a kick of Habanero – so easy to make in 20 min or less!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1-2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- few drops of El Maya Gourmet Habanero Hot Sauce- XXX Hot
- Juice of 1 lemon, or more, to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- OPTIONAL: 1 Pack of Pasta (any type will do)
DIRECTIONS:
- Add 1-2 tablespoons of Olive Oil to a large skillet over medium high heat. Add shrimp, salt and pepper, to taste. Cook, stirring occasionally, until pink, about 2-3 minutes; set aside.
- Add garlic to the skillet, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in shrimp and gently toss to combine.
- Add a few drops (or more) of El Maya Gourmet Habanero Hot Sauce-XXX Hot
- Serve immediately, garnished with cilantro, if desired.
- OPTIONAL: Cook and serve pasta with the shrimp
